Learn-to-swim
It is with great reluctance and sadness that Koons Pool has to pospone our learn-to-swim classes for this upcoming summer. As you all should know there is a national shortage of lifeguards. Koons Pool barely has enough lifeguards to operate the pool and cannot asign life guards to learn-to-swim classes in the morning without jeopardizing coverage during regular pool hours.
You ask "What can I do to help?"
During the upcoming year encourage people you know to become certified lifeguards so there will more available next year.
